Get Involved

Our work is driven by real-life people working in their communities and building bridges across Kansas to help others, emphasizing empathy and empowerment. We can raise each other up and give each other the opportunities to create change.

Collective action means that when you say, “I want to help,” we discuss what that means for you. Are you comfortable with engaging online? Do you want to write letters? Does it give you a sense of empowerment to have hundreds of Kansans getting a postcard from you talking about important issues and letting them know you care?

Whether it is volunteering at events, speaking at a Town Hall, helping with many of our community-building activities, or donating your time or funds to the cause you care about - we will recognize how you want to contribute to the goal of fostering a welcoming environment in our state that puts community and purposeful kindness ahead of ideological extremism. Click here to join us in the cause and support The 802 United in building a better Kansas.

How Your Contributions Help

The 802 United does not pay board members, and we do not have staff. We pay for services as needed to service our community efforts and goals. Donating to The 802 United funds events and programs like Town Halls, community leadership trainings, networking invitations, and building issues-based education programs.
